Locations & Contact Details

GMIT is a multi-campus college, based in five locations in the West of Ireland.

At the Galway Campus in Galway city, we offer students a full spectrum of programmes across the main discipline areas of Science & ComputingEngineeringBusiness and Humanities. This campus also hosts the Institute's two main research centres, the Marine and Freshwater Research Centre and GMedTech.

The Centre for Creative Arts & Media is also based in Galway, providing programmes in Art & Design and Film & TV.

The Mayo Campus in Castlebar focuses on providing programmes in Nursing and Health; Enterprise and the Environment.

The National Centre for Excellence in Furniture Design and Technology in Letterfrack is recognised internationally for the quality of its graduates and output.

Programmes on the Mountbellew campus are focused on Agriculture.

GMIT also has two business incubation centres or 'iHubs', one in Galway and one in Mayo, each with its own focus and profile and operating in collaboration with Enterprise Ireland, other relevant agencies and private sector partners.
