On November 9th between 11.00-12.30, GMIT, IT Sligo and Letterkenny IT will be hosting the first of 3 workshops entitled ‘Transitioning towards a Climate Action University’ to explore how sustainability can become a core guiding principle for the new Technological University. The workshop will be co-facilitated by Dr. Mark Kelly…and will include the following panel of speakers:

Dr. Orla Flynn, President of GMIT
Dr. Brendan McCormack, President of IT Sligo
Paul Hannigan. President of Letterkenny IT
Jennifer Boyer, Vice-President of Sustainability in Technological University of Dublin (TUD)
David Minton, Director at Northern and Western Regional Assembly
Tomás Ó Síocháin, CEO at Western Development Commission
Professor John O’Halloran, President of UCC

On November 11th, staff and students at GMIT, IT Sligo and Letterkenny IT will be invited to participate in a workshop exploring what a ‘Climate Action University’ may look like in 2030.

November 16th, 2021, 11.00-12.30

On November 16th, staff and students at GMIT, IT Sligo and Letterkenny IT will be given a second opportunity to participate in a workshop exploring what a ‘Climate Action University’ may look like in 2030.
