Details of fees For non-EU Students

International students are liable for the Non-EU fee. EU Resident, Non-EU Citizens may qualify for either the Free Fees Initiative or the EU fee. Students will have to submit documentation (as above) in order to be considered for the EU fee or either of the Free Fees Schemes.

Non-EU applicants to accelerated technician programmes
The Nationality criteria used to assess students under the Third Level Trainee Scheme will apply to this programme. In other words, tuition fees will only be paid for those that satisfy the Nationality Criteria of this Scheme. All other Non-EU applicants will have to pay relevant tuition and non-tuition fees for the programme.

NON-EU applicants to Fáilte Ireland programmes
Fáilte Ireland will agree to pay the fees for Non-EU citizens who hold a valid Stamp 4 visa.

Fáilte Ireland will agree to pay the fees for students on work based learning programmes. This applies only where students are working in tourism based hospitality establishments and satisfy the criteria above. (Failte Ireland will not pay for students working in Hospitals, Canteens or Prisons).

Where an applicant does not have a valid Stamp 4, then they will be personally liable for the tuition and non-tuition fee for the programme.

NON-EU applicants who are repeating
Students repeating one or more subjects will be liable for a pro-rata fee based on the number of credits they are taking at the Non-EU fee.

NON-EU part-time students
Non-EU students attending third-level programmes on a part-time basis will be liable for a pro-rata fee based on the number of credits they are taking at the Non-EU fee.
