Graduate Student Biography - Arman Barazenda
In 2009 I enrolled in FETAC Level 5 furniture design course in Ballinode College, Co. Sligo. One of the modules on that course was Technical Drawing. I got on extremely well with the Technical drawing aspect of the course so I then decided to take my study to an even higher level and this is when I decided to study Architectural Technology at GMIT.
I graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science ordinary degree in Architectural Technology. I have gained an incredible amount of knowledge about how to detail and design a building and how the building works. I also learned the technical design principles for a project and how to meet a project brief, the regulatory requirements e.g. building regulations for the building performance requirements. After completing my fourth year Honours degree in Architectural Technology I am now very confident in progressing into the construction working environment.
