Entry to GMIT with approved Foundation Programmes

International GMIT students in Connemara

GMIT accepts applications from candidates who have completed Foundation Programmes with Irish providers, for example: DIFC, Dorset College and the 3U Partnership.

Other Foundations Programmes may be accepted on a case-by-case basis.

Staff who sang in the SCCUL Sanctuary Choir Competition on Saturday (13 April), winning "Best Newcomer" category

GMIT’s new workplace choir, GMIT Voices, were crowned "Best Newcomer" on Saturday evening (13 April) at the annual SCCUL Choir Factor Competition which took place in Clarinbridge.

A new book “Struggles for empowerment – Higher Education stories from East and West”, co- authored by Dr Teresa Bruen, GMIT Mayo, and Professor Ambreen Shahriar from the University of Sindh, Hyderabad, Pakistan, was formally launched at the Mayo campus this week (10 April 2019).
