We accept direct transfer applications from suitable candidates for entry to Years 2, 3 and 4 of our programmes through Online Admissions from 1st January, 2019 until 31st May, 2019.
Applications received after this date will only be considered if places remain available.

We are delighted to confirm that we are now accepting applications for Years 2 and 4 of our new Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Early Childhood Education and Care, on our Mayo campus. To apply, follow the "Apply Now" link at the bottom of this page.
Please note that we are no longer accepting applications for direct entry to the following programme for 2019 entry:
- BSc (Hons) in Education (Design Graphics and Construction)
- Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Civil Engineering (Year 4)
- BSc (Hons) Public Health Nutrition
Students applying to transfer to the second or other stage of a programme must have passed the stage examinations and have achieved the learning outcomes for progression to the GMIT programme.
All applicants will be considered subject to places being available on that programme.
Applicants are ranked on overall average result if demand exceeds available places.
International applicants should email the International Office for more information.
