The LINKS Office in GMIT Galway International Hotel School:
Works with hospitality and tourism students to support and advise on work placement opportunities. Work placement is a mandatory part of all hospitality and tourism courses.
Engages with hospitality and tourism partners worldwide. This ensures students have opportunities to undertake work placement and seek employment in a country of their choice.
Oversees the Schools Liaison programme, meets students from secondary schools and organises tours of the Galway International Hotel School and the GMIT campus.
Plans and manages all Open Day activities for the Galway International Hotel School.
Reaches out to alumni all over the world ensuring they are kept up to date with the latest news and developments from GMIT.
Organises the annual Galway International Hotel School Fair in March each year.
