Understand the development of graphical design from the 19th century to the present day.
Understand project requirements and the production process for developing a graphics portfolio.
Identifying graphics design consideration ,legal and ethical issues
Demonstrate knowledge of image generating devices, their resulting image types, and how to access and manipulate images in an editing application.
Understand the workings of a number of graphics application and desktop publishing packages.
Use graphics and desktop publishing application packages to produce a number of graphics presentations and publications for the online, mobile and print medium.
Design, produce and evaluate a graphic design portfolio.
Appreciate the use of text and rich media as design elements.
Position published content for different media devices.
Engage in analysis and constructive critical discussion of digital graphic elements and documents.
