This module provides the student with an understanding of the economic and agronomic factors affecting animal and crop production systems

1. Understand animal and crop production systems and the costs and returns involved

2. Perform a range of routine management skills in the areas of animal production, crop production, machinery and buildings

3. Participate in the day to day management of a farm and identify solutions to farm problems in a logical manner

4. Take direction in work, behave professionally and use scientific skills in performing tasks
