Business Information Systems

This module provides a foundation for the business information systems programme. Students are introduced to the main themes of business information systems including specifying and acquiring IT, using information systems in a business, managing and analysing business data, and collaboration tools and cloud technologies.

1. Analyse current information and communications technologies (ICTs) and apply them to business problems.

2. Classify security risks to personal and business information and devise appropriate controls systems.
