Computer Forensics 1

An introductory module to the subject area of computer and digital forensics (Level 6 - 7).

1. Have an understanding of computer organisation & architecture.

2. Have an appreciation of the fundamentals of the subject area of computer / digital forensics.

3. Understand the digital investigation process.

4. Be able to compare and contrast digital / computer forensics to other forenisic science disciplines.

5. Understand the need for digital evidence controls.

6. Understand the legal and procedural differences between civil and criminal investigations.
