Core Visual Studies 2 (Flexible Mode)

Description

During this module the learner, through project work, lectures, workshops and seminars further develop and synthesise learning outcomes gained in the first module. Students are required to investigate painting from various starting points incorporating colour theory, colour behaviour and various drawing approaches. Furthermore ,students gain basic knowledge of theoretical contexts and practical skills that can be built upon in year 3 of the program.

  2. Demonstrate an ability to make judgments which reflect increased levels of critical awareness.

  3. Apply and interpret the elements and principles of art and design using techniques and processes.
