Final Year Project (FYP)
Description
The purpose of this module is to develop the participants' ability to work on a substantial final year project as a member of a team, ( or in an individual capacity) on the creation and development of an innovative digital media software product using new technologies and an innovative project idea.
Learning Outcomes
Demonstrate the application of appropriate digital technologies, software and media manipulation in the creation of an innovative software application /website/ app
Independently acquire and assess relevant knowledge that is contextually appropriate and specific to the project and optionally collaborate with team member/s for an integrated effort and end product.
Formally exhibit his / her technical capabilities, communication skills, project management skills and applied learning on production of the final project using the appropriate tools.
Integrate disparate technologies and principles to successfully develop and deliver an appropriately integrated solution to a computer-based project.
Apply critical thinking skills to a challenging "real world" business project.
Manage the project, using appropriate planning software and demonstrate the ability of working to appropriate milestones, which will be evaluated on an ongoing basis by project supervisor.
