German Language and Culture 4B

Description stage 4 (CEFR A.2.2)

This course offers students the opportunity to continue with a foreign language at intermediate level. The focus at this stage will be on the future linguistic and intercultural needs within the professional context.

1. In line with level A2 of the CEFR, students will be able to

   Understand phrases and the highest frequency vocabulary related to areas of immediate personal relevance

2. Read short, simple texts

3. Communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar topics and activities

4. Write short, simple notes and messages

5. Demonstrate an appreciation of selected cultural facets pertinent to the language
