Integrated Enterprise Systems

This module will give students insight into how integrated enterprise systems can transform an organisation in terms of creating agility in its process and people to compete in dynamic environments. The student will also be introduced to Design Thinking as an approach to innovation.

1. Describe the characteristics, key elements and organisational impact of Integrated enterprise systems

2. Demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of digital transformation in an organisational context

3. Construct a business case for enterprise systems to solve relevant business issues

4. Demonstrate a knowledge of Design Thinking as an approach to innovation

5. Use Design Thinking to combine academic ideas and practical skills to produce a prototype software application
