Introduction to Sport Marketing

Description

This module will introduce the student to the fundamentals of sport marketing including the business skills they may require to set up their own business such as online branding and social media profile, marketing principles, digital marketing. Students will also be introduced to the theories and practical applications of sport marketing. 

Learning Outcomes

  1. Design a business plan for a sport-related business.

  2. Critically evaluate sport marketing theories and current trends.

  3. Analyse and assess strategies for the development, launching and positioning of new sports products/business ideas.

  4. Develop and implement a digital marketing plan.
