Land Surveying 2

This module will develop competency in surveying and setting out for building projects using the appropriate equipment

1. Complete a detailed survey using a Total Station or similar

2. Demonstrate competence in vertical control

3. Set out buildings or other infrastructure using a Total Station or similar

4. Analyse their own work for accuracy by contrasting actual errors made with allowable errors.

5. Act effectively within a small team to complete a surveying task.

6. Demonstrate competence in the mathematical methods associated with land surveying and positioning
