Management, Strategic Planning and Evaluation
Description
This module introduces the concepts and tools of management, strategic planning and evaluation and applies them to community and youth work contexts. Access to funding initiatives and project resourcing in general is explored, as is the process of developing proposals and the employ of tools for implementation and evaluating progress.
Learning Outcomes
Select appropriate resources and agencies to assist with a particular community and youth project planning initiative.
Scope out, resource, plan, execute and develop a strategy for managing a community or youth development initiative.
Write up, present and defend the rationale for a community project proposal.
Design, develop and present a framework to evaluate a community project management initiative, in line with best practice.
