I chose the International Tourism Management degree for the worldwide career opportunities it offers. Our class sizes were small, allowing you to all connect with your peers, lecturers on a personal level and other related degrees as you share modules with them throughout the year.

I chose the International Tourism Management degree for the worldwide career opportunities it offers. Our class sizes were small, allowing you to all connect with your peers, lecturers on a personal level and other related degrees as you share modules with them throughout the year.

For placement, I got the opportunity to work with a four-star hotel & golf resort in Wicklow in first year and I travelled to New Zealand to work in an award-winning Irish Bar & Restaurant in second year. My favourite module was international study tour, where we got to take our guiding module abroad. This was one of the highlights for me in university, travelling and exploring a European city with friends and lecturers, all as part of my degree.

Since graduating I have been working with Fáilte Ireland and am currently working with them on a very exciting 'Ireland's Hidden Heartlands' regional team project.
