Description

To enable students to communicate and demonstrate a specialised understanding of the models, processes, obligations, constraints and techniques of entrepreneurial strategy and new venture planning.

Learning Outcomes

  1. Demonstrate  a detailed  and current knowledge of the economic, social and philanthropic contributions of entrepreneurship.

  2. Recognize the difference between an idea and an opportunity; manipulate venture opportunity screening processes and craft a personal entrepreneurial strategy

  3. Research, prioritise tasks for, prepare, professionally communicate and rigorously defend a comprehensive business plan.

  4. Evaluate , recognize and discuss the limitations of their own research.

  5. Identify and discuss difficulties and opportunities presented by the regulatory and competitive environment.

  6. Demonstrate an ability to plan for the unexpected.
