ATU Galway hosts Accounting revisions sessions online for Leaving Cert students

New four year B.Sc. in Digital Accounting commences September 2023

ATU Galway’s Business School is hosting free Accounting revision sessions live online for Leaving Certificate students from 2 March to 4 May, 2023.

The free sessions will be run by Vanessa Egan, lecturer on ATU’s new B.Sc. in Digital Accounting which commences in ATU Galway from September 2023. The online classes will run every Thursday at 7pm from 2 March through to 30 March and 20 April through to 4 May. Each session will cover one topic and work through a recent past Leaving Cert question in detail. To attend the sessions please email business.galwaymayo@atu.ie and request an invitation to the eight sessions.

Two IPADs will be available as spot prizes in a competition that will only be available only to those attending the online revision lectures. Clues to the prizes will be given during the sessions and the winner(s) will be presented with their prize in their school.

Deirdre Lusby, Head of Dept of Business and Accounting, ATU Galway-Mayo, says: “We are delighted to return to hosting our Leaving Cert Accounting Revision sessions this year.  The sessions will be run online by Vanessa Egan, who lectures on our new Bachelor of Science in Digital Accounting. The four-year Level 8 programme includes a placement of one semester duration in third year.  Already there is a queue of employers eagerly awaiting its first graduates.”
