Project Management

This module aims to provide students with a conceptual knowledge and a practical understanding of project management. The module will focus on the application of this in the context of developing a relevant project.

1. display a knowledge and understanding of the philosophy, processes and practices of project management in a wide variety of organizational contexts;

2. apply software tools for managing the scheduling, resourcing, costs and performance of projects;

3. identify, select, evaluate and develop the relevant project management deliverables for the design and development of a project in a small organization;

4. demonstrate an understanding of the human issues in project management;

5. participate as a project team member.
