This module introduces the learner to software development. The focus in this module is primarily on the basic concepts of computer programming.

1. Describe what a computer program is and how it works.

2. Recall the basic concepts of software development and computing.

3. Display an understanding of the basic concepts of a programming language.

4. Create computer programs using basic programming concepts.

5. Apply computer programming to solve real-world problems.

6. Test for and solve issues in computer programs.
