Spanish Language and Culture 3

Description

This module is aimed at learners wishing to achieve an upper intermediate level of Spanish language and culture.  It is in line with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, level B1.

Learning Outcomes

  1. Converse in Spanish at an upper intermediate level within rehearsed and unexpected contexts.

  2. Manipulate grammatical structures in the language at an increasingly complex level.

  3. Speak using accurate pronunciation and intonation.

  4. Comprehend written Spanish and formulate written responses in the language within prescribed contexts.

  5. Comprehend oral Spanish within a wider range of contexts.

  6. Respond effectively to language cues provided by means of a variety of communicative media.

  7. Present orally and in written form an in-depth study of aspects of the Spanish speaking world.

  8. Employ and reflect on their own language learning strategies.
