Student ID Cards

If it is your first time in ATU, you will need to upload a photo on Students new to ATU

If it is your first time in ATU, you will need to upload a photo on studentselfservice.atugalwaymayo.ie to get your ATU Student ID card.

First you must complete your registration – click HERE and follow the step by step instructions to register.

2023/2024 Student ID Cards will be posted out to the mailing address provided upon registering. For further information please see HERE

Within registration click on Photo Upload

Click on 'Upload ID Picture' and follow the instructions. Your ATU Student ID card will be posted to your postal address.

Please be aware of the following points before you upload your student image:

Important notes on Photo Image uploaded:

Photo must be taken vertically.
Your photograph should show a full front view from your shoulders upwards.
Your expression should be neutral with both eyes open and mouth closed.
You should not have any hair covering your eyes. Contrived expressions such as raised eyebrows, squinting or frowning are not acceptable.
Sunglasses and hats are not acceptable. Only head covering worn for religious reasons are permitted.
Your photo must be an actual photo and not a photo of another image e.g. Driving Licence or Age card.

NOTE: Only registered students will receive an ID card.
