Sustainability Project

Description

This module is a capstone module on the Master's in Business Sustainability Leadership and is designed to integrate the learning from the modules on the programme  and equip the student to complete a sustainability analysis of their organisation and develop organisational mechanisms to implement and report on sustainability interventions. The aim of the module is to integrate the students' wider contextual analysis, impact assessment, strategic planning and assessment of behavioural norms to provide an action plan and report on sustainability. 

 

Learning Outcomes

  1. Demonstrate a critical awareness of the global sustainable development challenges in the context of an organisational setting;

  2. Critically assess materiality of sustainability-related issues contextualised to an organisation;

  3. Map and critically evaluate an organisation in the context of the UN Sustainable Development Goals framework.

  4. Analyse the impact of an organisation in terms of its social, environmental and economic sustainability metrics;

  5. Design an impact mitigation strategy in line with international sustainability reporting standards.
