Sustainable Hospitality and Tourism Management

Description

This module aims to inform students of the need for environmental management systems for all hospitality and tourism businesses. It will inform students how businesses can minimise their impact on the environment and reduce their carbon footprint. It will provide instruction for efficient and effective resource management, and the key requirement necessary to conduct a resource audit in Hospitality or Tourism related business. It will be closely aligned to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

  2. Critically analyse key performance indicators for sustainable tourism and hospitality operations

  3. Evaluate the importance of efficiency in key resource areas in Hospitality and Tourism
