This four-year honours degree prepares graduates for many of the business roles available in the tourism industry in Ireland and internationally today.
Students develop skills at both operational and supervisory management levels.
This course also develops students' entrepreneurial skills to facilitate new business start-ups. In today’s economic climate, these skills will prove invaluable upon graduation.
The integrated work placements in Year One and Year Two allow students to experience at first hand the challenges, demands and rewards of working in this exciting and ever-changing industry.

First year students must also choose a language and culture module (French, German, Spanish, or Gaeilge). Prior study of a language is not required.
Field trips are a key component of this course, and students will be asked to contribute towards the cost of bus hire, visitor attraction admission, guides, etc.
Work Placement 1: Twelve week placement after Year One examinations (normally June, July, and August). This is to take place in Ireland and is supported and co-ordinated by the LINKS office in conjunction with the student.
